Everyone needs a home!

We are going to be studying different types of animal homes. Today Year 1, choose an animal that you would like to study and post a comment in our blog letting everyone know what animal you have chosen and why!

Contact with Issac in Europe!

Year 1 Red have been missing Issac these last weeks! Issac and his family have been traveling all around Europe. Before they went, Mrs M set up a blog so that the family could let us know what they were doing and where they have been. One Red have been finding out all about the trip and have written comments back to Issac. This is a great example that shows how useful the internet can be now-especially for connecting with others!

Week 8- Information Pictures!

We learnt that we could make 'information pictures' in a variety of ways. This time we used Kidspiration to draw a picture showing a life cycle. We could put the arrows in to give the impression of a 'cycle'. It is important for us to learn how to show information in different ways.

Weeks 3-6 Term 2 Life Cycle Slide Shows

We worked very hard in the next weeks making slide shows about lifecycles. We learnt how to save and open work on the network, (we even saved each picture we drew into seperate folders!), and we learnt how to make slides and put in the text. Our Year 5 buddies helped us to insert the pictures into our slides and finish our slide shows off!

Week 3 Term 2 Mothers Day pictures

We wanted to do something special for our Mothers. We drew pictures to show how special they are to us!!

Week 2 Term 2 Paint!

We spent the first two weeks revising and developing our skills using paint!

This term One Red started Technology Classes! They started with a lesson reminding them about the technology rules!
